Ben Raznick’s Birds of a Feather Breaks the Mold for Classical Album Debut
Denver, October 2019 - Raznick soars with Birds of a Feather!
Ben Raznick has announced he will release a Colorado filmed visual album for his next classical piano project, Birds of a Feather. The album features ten composers and sixteen professionally edited video performances showcasing a fashionable Raznick and his skillful execution of the pieces. All sixteen pieces were recorded and produced at Denver University’s Hamilton Hall on a Hamburg 9’ Steinway & Sons piano.
Ben Raznick has launched an online Kickstarter Campaign to promote and raise funds for his album debut. It is now live! His Kickstarter is available to back until December 12th, 2019. Music and art enthusiasts are encouraged to choose a reward package to support Raznick’s project, such as a gift set package that includes, among other special items, two tickets to one of his premiere shows in May 2020 at the Dairy Center for the Arts theatre in Boulder, Colorado. Other gift set reward packages include tote bags, decks of cards and art prints of ten unique watercolor painted feathers that represent each of the ten composers debuted on Birds of a Feather.
Pianist, composer, recording artist and currently a piano instructor at Metropolitan State University’s DIME-Denver, Raznick has had unique career in piano, training with piano professors in the United States, Argentina, Brazil and Spain. In 2019, Raznick was selected as a 2x semi-finalist in The American Prize (Professional Piano Performance & Chamber Composition) and a recipient of Steinway & Sons prestigious Top Music Teacher Award in 2017 & 2018.

Pianist, composer, recording artist and teacher from Boulder, Colorado, Ben Raznick holds a BA in Spanish Language and a Certificate of Business from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, as well as a Masters in Education from Regis University. Raznick has trained with piano professors in the United States, Argentina, Brazil and Spain. In 2019, Raznick was selected as a 2x semi-finalist in the Professional Solo Piano Performance division, and Composers (Instrumental Chamber Music) division of The American Prize. Raznick is a recipient of Steinway & Sons prestigious Top Music Teacher Award in 2017 & 2018, and currently a piano instructor at Metropolitan State University's DIME-Denver. He is also a verified artist on Spotify, a district advocate for the Recording Academy, and a cofounder of Quincy Jones’ Qwest.tv. In 2018, Raznick was distinguished as a "Friend of the Arts" by Sigma Alpha Iota Music Fraternity and is a current officer for Denver Area Music Teachers Association.
